{"id":1163,"date":"2025-01-05T20:39:40","date_gmt":"2025-01-05T20:39:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/siemenscx.com\/?page_id=1163"},"modified":"2025-01-05T20:39:40","modified_gmt":"2025-01-05T20:39:40","slug":"support","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/siemenscx.com\/?page_id=1163","title":{"rendered":"Support"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Support Center\u00a0provides the following for all SiemensCX Industries products :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Installation files<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>License files<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge base<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Documentation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support cases (See attached phone numbers at the bottom of this page as a\u00a0<em>secondary\u00a0<\/em>way to reach support)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Product updates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>License\/order information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>TO GET ACCESS:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You will first\u00a0<strong>**NEED**\u00a0<\/strong>to know the\u00a0install\/sold-to number\u00a0(which is essentially a server assigned to a set of licensing) and\u00a0web access code (WAC)\u00a0on the\u00a0license file(s)\u00a0during the\u00a0self-registration process\u00a0to gain access.\u00a0<strong>DO NOT REGISTER YOURSELF WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION\u00a0<\/strong>as you will not have access to the content you need when you get access since your account is not tied to any of the products listed on your license\/sold-to and therefore you will be missing relevant products in the support center (if you messed this part up, see the below section on how to add a sold-to to your webkey). Consider that your University may have different departments, faculty, and student teams EACH with their own sets of licensing (each will likely contain different products too) so please use the information from the correct license file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The license contact listed in our system (usually either an IT person or faculty member) for the corresponding sold-to will receive these license files, so please coordinate with this person to obtain the sold-to and web access code for self-registration. If you need help identifying who that point of contact is please let your SiemensCX representative know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a0<strong><u>To change your password<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0or information, go to Account Center > My Profile.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><u>To generate STAR-CCM+ PoD keys<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0please see\u00a0this\u00a0since there are additional steps we need to take on our end to get you access to PoD licensing management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you self register, this will automatically set up your personal\u00a0webkey account. Our\u00a0\u201cHow To\u201d videos show how get started, please also see the attached document below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u>TROUBLESHOOTING<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><u>If your web access code (WAC) didn&#8217;t work:<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0Select \u201cI don\u2019t know my WAC..\u201d\u00a0during the registration process. A Siemens employee will work with you to get set up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><u>Missing products?<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0You may not have the needed sold-to added to your webkey account. To fix this see the below bullet point.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><u>To add or review Sold-To \/ Install \/ Site ID&#8217;s and their corresponding web access keys:\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>Once you are in the support center go to Account Center > Sites and Users.
